Requirements
Front Yard
•Incorporate a small tree as a focal point in a planting bed with 2-3 different dwarf shrubs mass planting groups
•Include a sitting area accommodating 2-4 visitors
•Create a planting bed for the mailbox with low plant materials.
•Keep total turf area in front yard approximate 40%.
•Design a secondary walk (2’-3’ wide) accessing the back yard from the garage side of house
•Consider a screened space for storage area consisting of two garbage containers along the garage wall
Back Yard
•Provide living area with partial shade
•Plant beds along the property lines, consider the style of lines to be united and cohesive with front and side yard.
•Total turf area approximate 40-50%.
•You may suggest and design a water feature
•Provide green screen or a fence along north-west side of property.
•Consider a theme/garden style for the whole residence
•Think of different outdoor rooms serving different functions.
